Level core is comprised of three artists: DJ Nylon, Baby t-rex and dprcoco. They’ve been creating hip hop music together since 2016 and come out of Fukuoka, Japan. What sets them apart is their mixing between Japanese and English raps, not to mention they’re super dope at it. With DJ Nylon’s hard hitting yet chill, dark yet head bobbing inducing beats, grooving is difficult to resist. Baby t-rex and dprcoco’s chemistry on the track and at their live shows is a joy to watch and listen to. Looking forward to see what comes next, it’s only up from here….

音楽の街・福岡から唯一無二のHIPHOPを奏でる2MC＆1DJ。2016年、福岡と大分を股にかけ、よどみない二言語ラップでフロアを盛り上げてきたBaby t-rexと、クラブのメッカ・親不孝通りで

DJ・ビートメーカーとしての地位を不動のものにしていたNylonが邂逅。そこにBaby t-rexの大学での仲間であり、共に音楽活動も行っていたアメリカ人ラッパーdprcocoが合流し、LEVELCOREを結成する。

HIPHOPをはじめとする様々なクラブミュージックを知り尽くしたNylonが手がけるトラックは、浮遊感と毒々しさが持ち味ながら、コアなヘッズ以外の耳にも馴染むキャッチーな空気を纏う。中毒性の高いビートの上に乗るのは、日本語と英語を使い分ける2MCのどこまでも自然体なラップだ。Baby t-rexの詩的で核心に迫るライムが心の隙間に入り込み、dprcocoのときに息継ぎを忘れたかのようなリズミカルなフロウが鼓膜で踊る。
